WANGANUI JOTTINGS.

The inadequacy of the present Courthouse was once again referred to at the Supreme Court to-flay, and the hope was expressed that Wanganui would shortly have a more up-to-date building. The entries for the Wanganui regatta, to be held on Thursday, are very satisfactory, and some interesting racing should be witnessed. For the sixth occasion in succession there was n clean sluct at the Magistrate's Court to-day. Mr. .T. B. O'Brien, well-known in volunteering circles died this morning aflcr a lons and painful illness.
