NELSON FRUIT CROPS.

NOT AS HEAVY AS LAST YEAR. The fruit crops in tho Nelson district are not as heavy,as last year, according to a recent visitor to Motueka. Apples particularly oro lighter than last season. Taken all round tho stono fruits are about an crop, but raspberries are on the light side, tho borer having caused considerable damage. Good prices, however, have juado up for the shorter supply. Pears arc for the most part a really good crop, but apricots are light. .
