A position was taken up later nearer camp in the afternoon, and tho J and I 1 Batteries (from Palmerston and Napior) were given every "opportunity to practice riding excrcisa, signalling, etc. , On Thursday evening a camp-firo concert was hold, whon songs, recitations etc., wore contributed—a very onjoyablo ovoning it was. To-morrow, sports aro to be hold. Ilia competitions will , include barrel, relay, swimming, and bun races, and many other items that will ainuso as well as provide competition. . .
