MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.
At a largo meeting, held at Hie Seamen's institute on Monday evening, il was decided to form a ejub, to be e«lleil the Seamen's Auxiliary Spurts anjl Social Club. After Jlr. Ciitniniiitfs hud been elected chairman and Mr. (f. Ornoi .'ecri'liiry, pro tern, Mr. 8. .tones (.<.*. l'olierua) outlined the objects of (lie club, which are, briefly :—(1) The promotion of !f(ifld fellowship anion" seamen; (2) assisting any <IM-rew«l members; (I!) forwarding tin- work of the Mission to Seamen. A motion of sympathy with the mis-toner, Mr. I'. H. Shell, was carried unanimously.
