Four i>uni'(« breiuk'ruiubs, lnz. flour, •loz. butter (melted), 1 tablespoonl'ut hot wuler, pinch of suit. Sift the Hour and salt into a basin, and mix tlii' breadcrumbs with them. Xlelt the butter, add the hot water, and stir them to the other ingredients. Shape the mixture into balls about the size of « walnut (do this without Untiring the hands), and drop them into boiling water. Roil gently for about 'JO minutes, until tlie.v begin to sink. Serve with stowed fruit. FOR TO-MOKHOW. Calf's head, beans, cauliflower, cheese.
