MASTERTON NOTES.

(From Our Special Correspondent.) Masterton, February 12. The Woirarapa Egg Circle has disposed of 3G,(i15 (io::cn eggs (luring the past twelve months, for wliich a sum of dC2IOI Gs. ijd, was received, boing an average price of Is. ljil. per dozen. The expenses ainouii'cd to Ijd. per liozon, leaving a net (irico of Is. per dozen for the year. A match between the llasterton and Carterton Lawn Tennis Clubs was played on the local courts on Saturday, and resulted in a win 7 lor Masterton by nine to five. Deceased, who was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Olson, old settlers of Muurieeville, was only thirty years of age.
