A maintenance order of 7s. a wcok was made in her favour. For disobedience of a maintenance order George Henry Bradley was sentenced to one month s imprisonment. William Pollock was fined £3 for disobeying a maintenance order. Joseph Smith was ordered to pay 15s.' a week towards th« support of his two children. William Henry Trencrove was convicted and discharged on a charge of assaulting Cecil Knight Vail. Defendant declared that Vail had provoked him with impudence. For insobriety, Terence M'Aleer was fined JCI. A fine, of 10s. was made against Leonard Fenton for boarding a moving train. Isidore Jacobus was fined £2 for breaking a prohibition order. John Murdoch was adjudged the putative father of an unborn illegitimate child, and ordered to find sureties that ha would provide for its future maintenance.
