SUMMARY ANB FORECAST Present indications are for a falling barometer cvjrywhcre, with freshening northerly winds, warm weather, in'creasing haze and cloudiness will probably precede unsettled wsather, one! rain in many parts of the country. The barometer ros; fast and stood high everywhere on Sunday morning. Strong southerly winds prevailed, and the weather auickly improved. D. C. BATES. Palmorston, February 12.—Weather fine. Shannon, February 12.—Ths weather is warm and line. Otaki, February 12.—Fine. Featherston, Februa-ry 12.—Bright, warm day; N.W. wind. Carterton, February 12—Fino warm weather continu3i hers, the fall of rain which occurred on Friday having freshened things up. The atmosphere in the early morning, and towards evening, grows rather ke;n. Greytown, February 12—For two days the weather has been very wet, but it has again cleared up somewhat. H:avy clouds arc still threatening. Hastings, February 12—To-day has been line and extremely warm.
