GARDEN FETE.
This afternoon a garden fete, under the auspices of Hie Wellington Central Missiou, will bo licld on the grounds of Mrs. Dentin's, "Fernhill," ■Wellington Terrace, uear Ghuznee Street. Those gardens are remarkable, for (heir beautiful zig-zag paths and native bush, and in addition to 'ho sc-cnic attractions, there will be many items of interest for old and young. Work stalls and stalls for tlip snle of flowers and sweots have been erected, and side-shows will render amusement. The Central Mission Silver Band will be present in full i'oree to render selections of music.
