. $—: BUNKER niLL MINE'ACCIDENT. By Telesrajli-Prcss Associatlon-CopyriEhl San Francisco, February 8. Word has been received of the safety of sixty-two miners entombed at the Blinker Hill Mine through an airpipe. Large gangs of men -are working frantically to release them. Tho victims took refuge in a tunnel which is believed to bo temporarily safe. The accident was due to the breaking of the. cable in the main shaft causing a heavily laden skip filled with rocks to crash downwards, wrecking the shaft timbers and dislodging rocks. A single airpipe remained open, which alone prevented a, terrible disaster.
