At home: Jerusaleni, Morgan, Sloane, Turner (skin); Jlills, I'obertson, Wallis, Bethune (skip). NEWTOWN CLUB'S SMOKE CONCEBT. Last night the. Newtown Bowling Club tendered a smoke, concert, in the New Century Hall, Kent Terrace, to Messrs. Warwick Dull', Pollock, and Wylic (s.), pinners of the Northern Bowling Association championship banner, and to Messrs. Mayo, J. Sexton, Price, and Pringle (s.), winners, of the consolnlion prize. There was a large gathering of bowlers, representatives from inaiiy and various teams being present, and the Newtown Club had laid themselves out to entertain their guests lavishly. An apology -was read from (he president, Mr. T. Bland, who on account of illness was unable to attend. In his abseuco Mr. Scott took dm chair, and til Hit outset proposed "The King." Other toasts were: ,r N.B. Association"; "Winning Kink in 1912 Tournament, also "Winners of Consolation Match," Messrs. Wylie and Prince; and "Itiiniiers I'p and Winner Last-Try," Messrs. Still and Hemingway. The "social" was enlivened by numerous songs and recitations, the chief contributors being Messrs. Hill, Head, Gray, and Avery. Mr. Frank TTendry presided at tho piano. The catering was done by Godber's.
