MASTER BAKERS.
0 ANNUAL CONFERENCE. ■ The I'lovcnth annual conference of Iho United Now Zealand Master Bakers' Industrial Union of Employers was opened in one of tho committee rooms in tho Town Hall yesterday. The president, Air. G. Smordon, of Auckland, was in the chair, and there were some 25 delegates present from all parts of New Zealand. The visiting delegates were welcomed by Mr. W. A. Kcllow, president of the local association. The only other business dealt with was the annual report and Hince-shc-et, which were not made availablo to the press. In the afternoon • the visitors were taken to Island Bay in brakes, as guests of.the loenl association. To-day the conference, will sit for the transaction of business:, morning and nfterncon, and in the evening will bo entertained at a smoke concert in the .Masonic Hall. On Friday morning the delegates are to be taken per boat to Day's llsy, and entertained there at luncheon, and in the afternoon it is c:;nected that the conference will be concluded.
