SUMMARY AND FORECAST Present indications are for e, falling: barometer everywhere soon; westerly ami northerly winds will probably freshen, with inercasine cloudiness and unsettled weather will follow shortly in most parts of the country. Moderate to strong southerly and westerly winds have pridominated, with light rain mostly on the Kast Coast, but the weather cleared un in most parts to-day. TVanganui, February 7— Beautiful weather was. experienced hero to-day. Feilding, February 7.—A dull morninp, with a bright, hot afternoon, and a cool, calm night. Palmcrston, February 7—The weather is dull, but fine. Otaki, February 7.—Sunshine. Featherston, February 7.—Heavy rain fell last night. To-day is warm, but dull. Masterton, February 7.—Light rain fell in this district last night, and the temperature became cooler. To-day, however, there are indications of a return to heat.
