Besides the usual reports dealt with, consideration was given to the question of arranging: for the. publication of a pamphlet ijettiiifj .forth tKo objects and achievements of tlie society. It was remarked by one of the speakers that, during the last four years, 250 horses whose continued existence constituted cruelty had been destroyed through the efforts of the society.
