LIFE-SAVING SOCIETY.
: ■ A meeting of the Wellington Head Centre of the Royal Life-Saving Society was held last evening, Mr. G. .S. Ififl presiding. . The team finally chosen to represent the centre for the competition for tho AVigrain Life-Saving Shield was approved. It consists of Messrs. L. M. Avery, K. D. Russell, A. A. Somemlle, and W. H. Ellis. , Messrs. G. S. Hill and T. Shields were appointed delegates to the conference of the Dominion head centres of the society to be held at Christchurch during championship week. . In the event: of the former not being able to go, Mr. W. H. Ellis was deputed to take his place.
