A Judge at Portland, Oregon, hold that the use of the term "scab," as applied to non-unionists, was not a punishable offence uiiloss accompanied with abusive words. Six men were adjudged guilty of a breach of the pea'co for nsinp; abusive language, including tho word "scab," to son-unionist workers in the railway shops.
