WAIHI G.M. RETURN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Auckland, February 2. The Waihi Gold-mining Co., during the' four-'.vcckly period ended January 20, crushed and treated 13,384 tons of ore for a return of bullion of an estimated value of £23,259. Owing to the Christmas and New Year holidays intervening, the batteries were only ltept going for twelve day? during that period, which accounts for the lesser tonnage than usually treated, and the proportionat-jly smaller return compared with the return for tho corresponding period of last year, ..when 16,007 tons produced £31,004. past month's yield shows a decrease of £7735.
