Tho Majority, it is understood, will, rocommcnd tlw empowering of county Courts to deal with eases withm well-defined restrictions. It is under stood that a substantial majority of the Commissioners will recommend ostonßive alterations in the law of divorce, in R the lead of the chairman Lord Goie I, who, when President of the Divorce, Diusion, recommended several chances in j no present marriage laws, .ho doubt the members of tho Commission were much impressed bv the evidence of tho repiosentntives oT tho Women s Guild, numbering 27,000, who urged"t there should bo an equal moral standard for men and women, and that lite proniuls of divorce should be the same. In jiiew of this expression'of opinion and a Dpily of general evidence bearing on tins point, it is reasonable to expect that the Koj.il Commission will be in favour of recommending a rfeform in this direction. It is fully expected the Commission will favour tlic extension of tho facilities for applying for a divorce in tonna l>a"l>e™j As another important.matter there will bo a recommendation that a check should be placed 011 the publication of details of oviucucc, though 110110 upon the publicity of tho Court.
