Tho annual moetinß of tho committee of tho Wellington Sunday School Urn™ was held in the manager's room of fat. John's Church on Thursday evening. Mr. W. G. Iloldsworth occupied the chair, and seventeen delegates woro present. Mr. Foster, of Curtertou, . who has over twenty-five years of continuous service tvi his'credit, was granted a long-ser-vic-o diploma. It was reported that arrangoments woro well under way lor tho annual teachers - ' convention, to to held in Blenheim during Easter. Each school will be entitled to send two delegates to the convention. . The annual scholars examination will be held in Julv. As only six scholars had competed in Grado I, it .was considered unnecessary to have a spesiial set of questions for those oror IS years. Itwasdccideil to make Grade I cover scholars 10 years and under 18, and only to have five grades instead of six as hitherto. Over .CM of the ,£25 required as Wellington's contribution towards the expense of the visit of Mr. and Miss Archibald has been promised to (he secretary and treasurer, who are hopeful of securing tho balance within the next, few d:\j-s The annual reports of the secretary, visitors, and secretary of the Internsitional Bible Raiding Association were read and adopted. The treasurer's bal-iinco-slieet showed about .£3 of a deficit, but. it is hoped to wipe this out b.v the help of the churches, tfliich are to bo j asked to allow a retiring collection to bo taken 1111 alwut July next.
