NELSON KINKS ARRIVE TO-DAY. Four rinks of Nelson bowlers are to arrive from across the strait this morning to play against Wellington clubs today and to-morrow. To-day they are to meet rinks from the Thormlon, K'ell.urn-j, ami Ji'ewtown Clubs on Thormlon green. To-morrow morning they will meet a quartet of Hataitai rinks on the WpllinjtIcn green, they will be entertained in the club's pavilion at luncheon, and in Hie afternoon will play against representatives of the -Wellington Club. Association's tournament took place to-day in brilliant weather. In the semi-finals, AVhitiora No. 3, M'Kinnon skip (22), defeated liotorna No. 1, MTarlane skip (19); To Kuiti No. 1, Power (20) beat Whitiora No. 1, Mitchell (18) i Waihi No. 1, Noonan (10), beat Tβ Kuiti No. 1, Power (IB). Te Arolm No. I, Dalton (21) beat AVhitiora No. 3, Jl'Kinnon (20). In the final Te Aroha No. 1 (21) defeated Waihi No. 1 (18). To Aroha has thus won the Tcnnant Shield and medals four times. At a subsequent conference Te Aroha was awarded next year's tonrnament. MATCH AT THORNDON. Yesterday afternoon a three-rink match was played at Thorndon between the Thormlon and Johusonville Bowling CluLs.
