Arthur Pavno, of Victoria, nnd the other by Mr. Kutsoii Shennan, of Otiigo. I'or the Elderslie-bred rams, tho best price was this sum l«in<; paid by .Mr. David Jlnrray, of Clydevalt, v.hilo Mr. ,T. Millar, of Maunttatua savo •SOgns. for another, and Mr. 11. Buchanan, of Gisbonie, bought three at !15frns., 30gns., and 30gns. respectively. Tho Hon. ,1. D. Orinond was the piirchaser of another at 28gn?. Jlr. .T. MacFarlnTio paid 25gns. for one, and Bailey Bros., of Wanganui, 20frn°. for another. The best price obtained for ewes was logn?., which was paid in several instances. An imported Border Leicester ram realised HOgns., the purchaser being Mr. Ja=. Rofs, of Palmerston South. Another found a purchaser in Mr. Acton Adams at 75«ns. Of tho Klderslie-bred Border rams, 21ens. was the top price, the purchaser being Mr. M'Kerchor, of Woodlands. Another was bought at ifigns. by Mr. Acton Adams. The Enslish Lcicesters and Lincolns did not realise liijh prices in any insrnnce.
