SUMMARY AND FORECAST. ihe aepect is still threatening to the north-eastward, and present indications arc for warm and humid conditions northward of New Plymouth and Caetlcpoint, and unsettled and showery weather is probable, with strong easterly winds. Elsewhere-the barometer is due to rise, with moderate to strong easterly and south-easterly winds and fair to cloudy weather. iloderate to strong easterly and. southeasterly winds have prevailed, and little change has taken place in the atmospheric conditions. Showers have fallen northward of Kawhia and Gisborne, and in a few other parts. The skies are still hazy and cloudy in meat parts of the North Island, but fine weather is reported in the south. D. 0.
