Tliis evening. members and friends of the Wellington Central Mission propose holding n , moonlight excursion to Day's Bay. The excursionists will leave by the s.s. Duchess at 7.45 p.m., and will be accompanied by the Mission Silver Band of thirty players, who will give selections both going • and returning. After arrival at. the bay a concert will bo given iu tlio pavilion, at which a number of leading amateur Wellington performers will assist. These include Miss Dorothy Clarke, Mrs. Brirtain, Miss Lulu Arnold, Miss Maisic Carte, Messrs. Fletcher, Howse, Hilliker, and others. A return will be made for town at 10 o'clock. Tickets for excursion and concert combined will be issued at Is. 6d.-
