MIRAMAR POWER SCHEME.
The Miramar Taxpayers are asked to vote- to-day on the Borough. Council's proposal to increase the. size of .tie power station required in connection with the water supply and drainage schemes. The council is unanimous in its. approval of the uroject,- and claims that if the- proposal is carried a reduction of id. iii the £ can bo effected in the rates. Unanimous approval was given to the scheme at tho public meeting of ratepayers held last Friday in the district.
