SPECIAL NOTICES. TO CAPITALISTS WITH BRAINS, "W7"HO are not afraid to trust tlu-ir ' * own intelligence, nor, in innit'ors beyond their experience, to employ specialists to assist them in testing the accuracy and lmna fides of proposals submitted for their who do not condemn a whole natural industry of the Colony—one that has done so much,- and will yet,, if it gets a fair chance, do so much inoro'to ad. vanco New Zea'aud-ybecauso money has boon lost in ill-consul , red and dishonest concerns connected with it. The advertiser wants a few persons to join him' , to carry out a largo Hydraulic Mining Enterprise in which he has spent years of time and .£1»,000 in money—in investigating and testing the deposits of a hitherto unworked and previously untested nrea he- bos secured on one of- the richest goldfields of the Colony; nnd in procuring and planning the means and appliances for cheap, certain, and expeditious treatment by a well-proved process by which he has on other goldfields already treated millions of cubic yards. He has brought to bear on the work the most extensive special knowledgepractical and scientific—of this class of mining ever brought to bear on any enterprise in the Colony, and he has worked out a profit of 40 per oeut. per annum—with a chance of very much more. The deposits tested will give 27 years' work at such a profit and occupy only a fraction of the area of similar deposits commanded by the Company's works. He is willing to submit his data for revision toyand to visit the locality with—any specialist, or specialists, appointed. It is held as a rnle that large interest is bad security—that all enterprises that promise large interest on capital must bo risky in proportion. But there arc exceptions; the Mining interest has suffered so much from dishonesty and incompetence* in vendors and promoters that, exceptional terms such as arc hero offered arc required to induce capitalists to invest. By way (if giving hostages for good faith, the advertiser is conceding a 20 per cent, preference in dividends until contributed capital is rohirncd in full, before he gets any dividend, besides submitting to other stringent provisions to effectually secure contributors. He is willing to transfer the whole of the paid-up shares ho is receiving in payment to be held in Trust by an -appointee of ctmlrilmtnrs until his estimates have been tested and their money has by preferential dividends been returned. . Most of tho capital has already been found. Full particulars, with _ inspection of maps, plans, drawings, estimates, reports, tabulated results of losts, elc, may be obtained on application at tho office of this paper, or appointments may bo made by letter, addressed "HYDRAULIC MINING," "dominion" Offioe, Wellington,. t
