DANNEVIRKE A. & P. SHOW.
The autumn show of the Dannevirke A. and P. Association affords striking' evidence of what has been accomplished by the young and vigorous association which is now only in the third year of it 3 history. A steadily increasing membership, now getting well on to six hundred, indicates tho measure of popularity and support which it has throughout the district, and the healthy inter-, est which is taken in . its . affairs. The next "show, to be held on February It, bids' fair to bo as successful as its predecessors. The prize money has been increased since last year, a number of classes having been added, and as a result entries aro coming to hand freely. Good entries are anticipated in Jersey, Ayrshire, and Holstein cattle, a number of outside breeders having already notified that they will b© exhibitors, while the dairy cattle classes are always well filled. It is expected further that fat sheep and lambs will be specially strong classes this year.. In the matter of excursion fares and, train arrangements, the. Railway Department have met the association generously. As far as the district itself is conccrncd, the show lms cstfiblished itself as the big event of the year, and is looked forward to by old and young. There will be numerous attractions in'the way of side-shows, floral, and other interesting .exhibits. Entries, closo to-morrow.'
