The crow consists of Messrs. Seager, P. Moore, Yv. Moore, and K. Little. SWIMMING. MAHANtn SURF AND LIFE-SAVING CLOT. At a meeting of the Maranni Surf and Life-Saving Club last evening, Messrs. J. ■Wilson and E. Perry passed the test for the proficiency certificate and bronze medallion of the Royal Life-Saving Society. Mr. F>. J.- Wilson, also showed himself proficient as an instructor, and gained an honorary instructor's certificate. Since its institution in October last, this club has presented seven candidates for examination and has' gained thirteen, awards—six medallions, ■ six proficiency certificates, and an honorary- instructor's certificate. The club now holds 46 awards of the Eoyal Life-Saying Society in its ranks, and three of its members are examiners under the Royal Life-Saving Society. A deputation from the club recently waited upon the City Council to obtain authority and help to build suitable accommodation upon the iyall Bay beach for its members, ROWING.
