MAORI AS A PASS SUBJECT.
IN MATRICULATION,
Probably there are very few candidates for the matriculation examination who know that the Maori language is anwng the subjects of which they have choice. At anvratc, only five candidates have presented themselves for examination in Maori and nono of thorn have passed. In view of this tho Senate of the University decided to remove Maori from the" list of optional subjects.
