m , _ Chicago, January 25. The Hon. Sir Mackenzie Bowell, who was Premier of the Canadian Parliament in 1894-95, addressing a meeting at Belleville, said Canada had rejected reciprocity with the United States because she was doing so well financially. Ho predicted that the Dominion would soon equal the United States in wealth and population; then all talk of possible annexation would disappear.
