AGAINST LIQUOR TRAFFIC,

Sydney, January 26. The Protestant Defence Association lias passed a resolution against the Papal Censure over books, either through the Cus-' toms, public libaries, or booksellers, thus dictating to free Australians what they shall or shall not read.
Another resolution urged members to support all efforts to prohibit the manufacture and importation for sale of all, alcoholic liquors.
