CHINA'S TROUBLES.
ABDICATION POSTPONED.

Tho Edict has been issued postponing abdication, pending the decision of the National Convention. The Edict reiterates that tho Throno desires a peaceful sjlution of the troubles confronting China.
There has been a revulsion of feeling in favour of Yuan Shih Kai and against Tieh Liang, whom the Manchu papers designate as a truculent madman who desires to repeat the Boxer outrages of 1900.
