At a meeting yesterday of tho Post anil Telegrapli. ilocKey L'tiib, it was decided to place on'record the services rendered the club by Mr. liuntot, who has been transferred to Wellington. Mr. 11 miter v.ns also presented with a travelling bag and iv brief bag. It is expected tliat several Territorial otlicors will shortly be taking up residence in Masterton. The iiov. A. Hodge, who leaves for Napier next week, lias been presented by riie congregation of tho local Congregational Church with an illuminated address. Members of Mr. Hodge's iamily have also been recipients of presentations. At a "meeting ot the local branch of the Labour party last night, interesting addresses were delivered by Messrs. H\ A Veitch, M.P., and A. W. Hogg.
