At the trial of Mrs. Hazzard, tho "starvation doctor," of Seattle, for causing tho death of Miss "Williamson,, a cashier deposed that attempts had been made by Mrs. Hazzard to obtain money lying to the credit of tho deceased girl. Miss Conway, an Australian unrse, deposed to receiving leltors at Honolulu purporting to bo from the Williamsons, in which they declared themselves delighted with their treatment at the Hazzard Sanatorium.
