The following were the sianehterings at the mnnicipa.l abattoirs for December:— 40 cows, 20 heifers, 16 bullocks, 289 ewes, 32 Trctheps, 216 Tamil?, (> pigs, 2 calves. No beasts were condemned. MDonald being Riven n presentation on the eve of a holiday visit to Australia. Closo upou 100 ladies and gentlemen participated in the progressive euchre game.
