A firm, claiming to bo the largest shippers of Welsh tin plates to Australasia, has telegraphed to Mr. Bond, tho Unionist candidate for Carmarthen, on the eve. of the by-election, that as Australia and Australian workers were anxious to confine their trade to the Motherland, the electors should chnoso Mr. Bond, and so help Imperial-colonial preference.
