AND A BOYCOTT? BJi Tele(tra»h.—Pre!« AiMMaUoa.t Blenheim, January 24. A quarrel has arisen between local merchants and agriculturists. Tt is alleged that the former have organised a ring to bovcott outside buyers, and that chaffcutters have boen warned not to out for outsiders under the penalty of no work from local firms- The price of cutting has been raised to 10s. 6d. a ton, an advance of 3s. Gd. This advance is returned to local firms, but not to the farmers and outside buyers. A special meeting of tho Farmers' Union will be held on February 3, to consider the situation.
