SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications aro for cloudy and hiuy weather, with light rain in many parts. Variable and moderate winds will probably precede a southerly change, aftjr which an improvement may ho expected. The barometer will probably rise slowly after about sixteen hours. jrodnrate and variabb winds have prevailed, with mild and misty weather. A revsre hailstorm was experienced on Sunday morning. Fcatherston, January U— Bright warm day. Carterton, January 24.—Warm, fine weather continues, but gives indications of being unsettlsd.
