Certain of the wool? were tender, and these the Americans left severely alon;. The record price for the season in Xew Zealand was paid at this sale, namely, 13Jd., for nine hales of merino wether. For fleece wool of all descriptions, the market was appreciably firmer, esoocially for the liner wools. Hnlfhred and crossbred wools also showed an advance, good clips reaching Is. In some cast , !-, pieces and lochs also found good sale, <ind participat;d in the rise.
