, CRICKET. - MEETING OF_THE.COLLEGESi : : CANTBRBUBY..!WINS. _ Tha match between, elevens representing Canterbury and Victoria' Colleges was concluded yesterday, tilie result being •a win for the southern riieu by GS runs. Canterbury scored IHi in 'heir second innings, leaving Victoria Collego with a deficit of 1!)2 to be wiped out in the fourth innings of'the match.. -The local men failed rather badly and were nil out for 121. Again it was Donnelly'who did the damage_ mostly with slows which turned a yery little.,, 'l'ho wicket was not good enough to allow the. batsmen to go out .and punish, and when thoy stayed t back they tapped them up.
