TRAIN COLLISION.
. * RAILWAY OFFICIALS KILLED. By Telecranh— Proas Association—OoDyriehl New York, January 22. Mr. James Hiinrahan, ex-president of the Illinois Ceil tail Railway, Mr. Frank Melcher, second vice-president of the Rock Island Railway, Mr. I. Peiree, general solicitor to the Rock Island Railway, nnd other officials , were killed in a collision between two Illinois Central trains. Tho engine oC one train ploughed its way through n private car containing the officials. The cause of the collision was an extra delay due to one train failing to take water at the proper stopping place. None of the ordinary passengers were hurt.
