A mysterious tragedy occurred at Hillgrove, a mining township'liS!) miles north of Sydney, last night. Mrs. Watsoil, wife of a farmer, awaiting the arrival of her husband from the township heard a shot, followed by screams, and ou rushing out discovered her husband beside the cart hn was driving, with a bullet wound in his head. He died before assistance arrived. A young , man named Skinner •lias been arrested on a charge of murdering Watsou. .
