KOONYA. Frederick Sanmlcrs, a wharf labourer, residing at 2(1 Martin Street, met with a painful accident whilst working in No. 2 hold of the Union Company's steamer Koonyn last evening. Some heavy iron girders, weighing 18cwt. each, were being loaded, and one of them was being lowered iiito the hold when suddenly it came down with a run, ami fell 1 inches, descending on Sauuders's foot. Dr. Henry was culled, and after rendering aid, directed that the patient should be removed to the hospital.
