St.nulen and Lawton, of the local railway staff, arc under orders of transfer from here, Mr Stauden is ninr on his usual holiday leave, prior to taking up duty elsewhere. The changeable weather is still interfering with the harvest, and also preventing progress with tlio Mount Hector Work. However, tlio workmen went up last week to start work again, and thoj hope to make food i»rogress.
