Many Anglo-Australians farewelled Mr. Oscar Asclie, who is leaving for Australia to produce tho notable play "Kismet," at tho Hotel Cecil. Mr. Bertram Mackennal, A.R.A., Hon. Staniforth Smith, Hon. John M'Call, AgentGeneral for Tasmania, and Mr. Lonis Brenflan, consulting engineer of tho Brennan Torpedo Factory, were amongst those present.
