It is stated that the six cricketers who signed the ultimatum to tho Boa,rd of Control regarding the appointment of a manager were Hill, Tnunper, Armstrong, Hansford, Carter, and Cotter; while Hordern, Bardsley, Kellcway, Macartney, and Minnett refused to sign. (Rec. January 23, 1.5 a.m.) Sydney, January 22. Tho secretary of tho Board of Cricket Control has received a letter signed by tho six players mentioned this morning elaborating their objections to tho appointment of a manager by tho board, and stating that unless their demands are oonowled they will not accept selcctirn, ami if selected will not accompany tho team to England.
