(Socially Written for Tuf. Dominion - .) TUESDAY. Boiled mullon. Caper sauce. Potatoes. Carrots. Turnips. Poaches au grntin. PEACHES AU GRATIN. One tin of peaches, breadcrumbs, butter, sugar, lemon juice. Choose a flat dish, butter it well, arrange the halves of peaches on it neatly, convex side upwards, and fill up the spaces with fine breadcrumbs; mix with the. syrup from the peaches a squeezo of lemon juieo and a iittlo sugar. Pour over the peaches, and cover them with breadcrumbs. Put bits of butter all over the top/ or pour oiled butter over it. Put the dish in a quick oven, and brown nicely. Serve ivith cream. FOE TO-MORROW. Stalo spougo cake. Apricots. Cream. Neck of mutton. Green peas.
