MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
(Before Dr. Jl'Arthnr, S.M.) For breaking a prohibition order, John Samuel Taylor was fined .£2 at the Magistrate's Court 011 Saturday. Edward Sherrcd appeared- on a charge of stealing six watches valued at 305., the property of Charles Edward White. The offence was alleged to have been committed at Wanganui, and Sherrcd was remanded to appear tliero on January 21.
