Allen, secretary of the Wellington Industrial Exhibition, has received a communication from tlio sccretar.y of the Canterbury Industrial Association, intimating lha't it is the intention of that association to promote, a bis Dominion Indu-trial Exhibition, to '>•; held in Christeluirch next year. T'iievp is no intimation in tile letter as to the proposed date, but as it is proposed to iniike tho Exhibition a really big iifTiur, .Mr. Alien anticipate.* that it could not very well bo brought about until the second half of WI3. On llic scale proposed, it is pretty safo to conclude that Wellington mnnufactiirer.s will accord th« venture generous support.
