DISTRICT ORDERS. District Orders by Colonel E. W. Chaytor, Officer Commanding the Wellington Military District, include the following announcements:— Owing to tho fact that many officers could not present themselves for examination for promotion in November last, and to give those who failed at that examination a chance to sit again,; a spccial examination for promotion will be held in March, on tho third Tuesday. In future, examinations for promotion will bo held in the third Tuesday in February and August instead of May and November, commencing next August. ' The name of Lieutenant H. M. W.
