Noble mil give his decision as to whether ho will play iii the Tests on January 27. Discussing the Englishmen's objection to resin used by bowlers, Noble declared that he always used it, mid. the fieldsmen also. The use was not to enable tho bowler to break more, but simply to prevent the ball from slipping. The same advantage could bo gained by rubbing tho ball on the ground.
